Where it All Started....
Like anybody with a dream, I was in the process of going after mine. In 2019 I was working two part-time zookeeping jobs and had my sights set HARD on getting a job as a full-time keeper. As you can imagine, zookeepers work days, nights, weekends, holidays, you name it. And while we LOVE our jobs, we don't always love our schedules (and neither do our friends & families).
I thought I had it all figured out... Until one day, my daughter asked me if I was going to make it to Thanksgiving dinner that year. Cue the waterworks. My daughter was four and my son was six at the time. Cue the mom guilt... How many school field trips had I missed because I had to work? How much weekend and holiday fun had I missed out on because I always had to work?
What I Discovered
My mindset COMPLETELY shifted with that one little question from my daughter. My husband and I really wanted for me to be able to become a stay-at-home mom, but we couldn't make it work financially until August 2020.
My passion for skincare began in March 2020. The world was starting to shut down and I decided to start a business. Luckily for me, people weren't really going anywhere at the time anyway, and were spending more time online.
I've always struggled with skin sensitivities and had finally found products that I love AND THAT ACTUALLY WORK! I wanted so badly to invest in my skin and invest in MYSELF. So I took the plunge.
How I Can Help You
Now, I absolutely love being able to help people with their skin concerns and I love being able to watch those people become more confident in their own skin. Most importantly, I love being able to continue to contribute financially for my family while working from home and having time to enjoy all of the little family moments and memories that I had previously missed so many of. Helping people to start their own businesses and go after that same dream is an absolute AMAZING feeling that I don't think I will ever tire of.
